Preposition and it’s uses

 Time Prepositions

1. At (সময়/স্থানের নির্দিষ্ট বিন্দু)

   The meeting starts at 9 AM. (মিটিং সকাল ৯টায় শুরু হয়)

2. In (মাস/বছর/ঋতুতে)

   She was born in July. (সে জুলাই মাসে জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিল)

3. On (দিন/তারিখে)

   We have class on Sunday. (আমাদের রবিবার ক্লাস আছে)

4. For (সময়ের পরিমাণ)

   I've lived here for 5 years. (আমি এখানে ৫ বছর ধরে বাস করছি)

5. Since (সময়ের শুরু বিন্দু)

   He's been working since morning. (সে সকাল থেকে কাজ করছে)

6. During (সময়কালে)

   Don't talk during the exam. (পরীক্ষার সময় কথা বলো না)

7. Until/Till (পর্যন্ত)

   Wait until I return. (আমি ফিরে আসা পর্যন্ত অপেক্ষা কর)

8. In (বড় স্থান)

   They live in Dhaka. (তারা ঢাকায় থাকে)

9. At (নির্দিষ্ট স্থান)

10. On (পৃষ্ঠতলে)

11. Under (নিচে)

12. Over (উপরে)

15. Behind (পিছনে)

30. Despite (সত্ত্বেও)

Exam Tips:

1. Error Detection: Preposition mistakes often appear in time expressions (correct: "on Monday", wrong: "at Monday") and verb+preposition combinations (depend on, not depend to)
